MercaDream was built on a single conviction: every person deserves the ability to bring their imagination to life in cinematic form, regardless of budget, technical skill, or access to production resources.
We believe AI-powered creation should expand human creativity — not replace it, not homogenize it, and never weaponize it. Our technology is designed to serve the creator's vision, not redirect it.
This mission requires discipline. Not every use of our technology is one we will support. The commitments below are not aspirations — they are enforced policies that shape every product decision we make.

SAFETY BY DEFAULT
Safety filters are always active. They cannot be disabled by users, API callers, or operators. No exceptions, no workarounds.

All content is encrypted at rest and in transit. Multi-region replication with zero-knowledge architecture.

We will never claim ownership of your creations, license them to third parties, or display them publicly without your explicit consent.
CONTENT POLICY
MercaDream operates under a strict content policy enforced at the model, API, and platform levels simultaneously. Our Dream Extractor model is fine-tuned to refuse harmful requests regardless of how they are phrased.

Sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — zero tolerance, always reported to NCMEC
Non-consensual deepfakes or synthetic media depicting real individuals without documented consent
Content designed to incite violence, terrorism, or hatred against protected groups
Disinformation, electoral manipulation, or synthetic propaganda
Impersonation of real public figures in harmful, defamatory, or deceptive contexts
Content designed to facilitate harassment, stalking, or threats

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service. We do not sell data. We do not share data with advertisers. We do not build behavioral profiles for third-party targeting.

You may request export or deletion of all your data at any time via Settings ? Privacy or by contacting privacy@mercadream.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Content you generate using MercaDream is yours. You own the copyright to your outputs to the extent permitted by law in your jurisdiction. MercaDream does not claim any ownership, license, or rights over generated content.
You grant MercaDream a limited, non-exclusive license solely to store and deliver your content back to you. We do not sublicense, display, or monetize your content in any form.
MercaDream's own training data consists exclusively of properly licensed corpora. We respect copyright holders and operate in full compliance with applicable intellectual property law.
All output content is watermarked with a C2PA-compliant AI provenance signal embedded invisibly in the media. This protects both creators (proof of origin) and the public (transparency about AI generation).
RESPONSIBLE AI
MercaDream operates under a continuous AI safety program. Our red-teaming team probes the model quarterly for new failure modes, bias patterns, and policy circumvention techniques.
We publish a semi-annual safety report disclosing: model refusal rates by category, bias evaluation results, content moderation accuracy, and known limitations. These reports are public and linked below.
MercaDream participates in the Partnership on AI, the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI), and the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA). We hold ourselves accountable to external standards, not just internal ones.
TRANSPARENCY
Every video generated by MercaDream contains a C2PA watermark identifying it as AI-generated content. This watermark survives re-encoding, social media compression, and format conversion. We believe AI-generated media should be identifiable as such.
We publish the following on a rolling basis: infrastructure uptime and incident reports, quarterly safety evaluations, data breach notifications (within 72 hours of discovery), and material changes to this policy (30 days advance notice).
If we materially change how we handle your data or generate your content, you will receive direct notification and the opportunity to export your data before changes take effect.
